Communication visuals for exhibition

Together with curators Monika Lipšic, Marija Puipaitė and Vytautas Gečas, I remove furniture, so far inaccessible to mere mortals, from the museum’s repository and liken them to objects of daily life. Exhibited in the museum, furniture loses its essential qualities – functionality and intimacy with the body. Or perhaps it is fair to say that the human is lost in this situation – furniture ceases to be their negative space. In the photography series, the human sits, rests, lays down, straddles, goes under, crawls onto – spontaneously having their way with furniture, just like every day at home, wearing tights, but no trousers or skirt – amid daily routine.
